Script and Scriptwriting:  A clear, engaging script is essential and costs vary depending on the length and complexity of the video. For example, a 2-minute creative promo may cost around £750–£1,250 for scriptwriting. Storyboarding helps visualise the concept and plan the shoot, and can also affect filming costs, about £350 per day, which can take several days to 2 weeks to complete, depending on complexity.

Location Scouting and Permits: Most locations require permits and scouting fees and have their own regulations. An indicative figure, depending on location is £800 to several thousand a day.

Equipment Hire: For basic camera, lens, lighting set ups and sound equipment, expect to pay £200 to £500 per day. While high end cinema cameras, lenses and professional lighting set ups can reach £1,000 + per day. The cost difference reflects the difference between image quality, features of the camera and sound quality.

They act as the main point of contact for the client and oversee all departments to ensure the project runs smoothly and is delivered on time.
